ARPA Local Application – Sterling, CT

Sterling Funding Application

American Rescue Plan Act

The purpose of the ARPA funding application is to aid the maximum number of organizations and to ensure that the allocations of public funds derived from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) are used strategically to offer services that are better provided by non-profit community and other partners while creating clear expectations and improved outcomes from the services rendered. It is important that all public funding assigned to outside organizations are distributed and monitored in a transparent and accountable manner on behalf of the citizens of Sterling, Connecticut.

Organizations must complete an application to be considered for funding from the ARPA funds. Complete applications must include answers to all questions and be accompanied by all requested supporting documentation. Applications will be reviewed by the town for completeness and then for consideration and final approval.

Connecticut Fair Housing Center
Since 1994, the Connecticut Fair Housing Center has provided investigative and legal services to residents who believe they have been the victims of housing discrimination.

The Center also has provided education and conducted outreach on fair housing and fair lending issues throughout Connecticut. In addition, the Center has worked with the State of Connecticut, cities, towns, housing developers, housing managers, and others to promote compliance with federal fair housing laws.

Easy Submissions

Town Hall Drop Box

For the convenience of the citizens of the Town of Sterling and Village of Oneco, the Town Hall has a drop box located on the outside of the Municipal Building. The box is checked daily. Contents are distributed to the appropriate office.

The box can be used for tax payments (no cash please), dog license renewals, building permit applications, personal property declarations, etc.
